Our story:

Our vision:

To transform a historic, repurposed logging bunkhouse into a sanctuary of healing, where traditional practices and modern support systems converge to nurture body, mind, and spirit of our Lingít Peoples.

For thousands of years, the rural villages of Southeast Alaska have thrived on Lingít Aaní, compatibaly living in with the land and waters. Today, the Kake Cultural Healing House project by the Organized Village of Kake seeks to carry forward that legacy. This vision for a cultural healing hosue is born from the vision of community leaders and cultural healers who know that healing isn’t just about overcoming trauma—it’s about reconnecting with our identity, traditions, and the spirit of the land.
